Job Description:

A well-established company, operating in the property sector in the Western Cape and Gauteng, currently offers the following position to a suitable candidate, to commence duties as soon as possible.
Overseeing the Company’s estate agents (currently 30). This entails assisting them with matters ranging from contract law, the fulfilment of regulatory requirements, guidance on all matters related to the real estate industry and ensuring that the Companies high standard of service delivery is achieved across the board.
Be actively involved in growing the Company, and assisting the Company with recruitment efforts in order to attract more qualified estate agents to the Company.
Assist with training the Company’s agents as and when required.
Personally, mentoring a number of intern agents, and ensuring that they meet all regulatory requirements. This includes assisting with their logbooks, meeting with them on a regular basis and being present when they are completing or drafting any contracts or mandates.
Ensuring that all regulatory requirements are met within the office.
Be the company’s assigned FICA officer – and taking the responsibility that comes with that task.
Peruse and sign-off on all Offer to Purchase documents received via that office. This also includes informing agents if changes need to be made, and advising on any legal matters pertaining to the offer to purchase documents.
Serve as a director on the Company’s board.

Qualifications:

Attained the National Certificate in Real Estate (NQF Level 5), or have been awarded with an Equivalency Exemption for National Certificate in Real Estate (NQF Level 5).
Hold the Professional Designation: Master Practitioner in Real Estate (MPRE).
Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience managing an estate agency of at least 5 or more agents.
Have suitable management experience.
Have a solid grasp and take on the real estate industry, and be well versed in applicable regulations and legislation impacting on the industry.
Be well spoken, bilingual and have excellent communication skills.
Be neat, presentable and punctual.
Have the ability to communicate well on both an individual and group level.
Be highly computer literate.
A degree or certificate in business management will be advantageous.
