An General Engineering Supervisor is needed in Limpopo- Lephalale

Purpose of the job

Ensuring profitability by coordinating maintenance resources in alignment with the BMOS for his/ her area to ensure that production machines and equipment are available to sustain continuous production of coal and meet production targets at the lowest possible cost. This is to be executed within the principles of the KPI bucket per hour

Candidate must have worked in a Mining environment preferably in a Truck and Shovel operations, managing multiple engineering disciplines supporting various departments in achieving the desired KPI’s

Oversee the efficient operation of the maintenance process in his area
Manage the roving teams

Qualifications and expertise required (Must)

N6, S4 or equivalent
B Eng. degree (added advantage at least 10 years open pit knowledge)
Career path from Artisan, Foreman to Chief Foreman successfully completed
The time frame will depend on the person and his/ her experience and qualification but could range from 3 years’ experience to 9 years’ experience of which at least 2 years was spent on a supervisory level (Foreman/ chief foreman) in a production area experience should be sufficient for the incumbent to execute the key responsibilities independently

Constant identification of potential risks and Skills of staff
