General Manager – Mthata, Eastern Cape
Salary: Market Related

Purpose of Position:
The General Manager will ensure the profitability of the business by overseeing the various departments which include variable operations including finance, fixed operations (service & parts), and the business office (accounting & administration). The incumbent will also be responsible for planning, motivating and coordinating the management; structure and strategic analysis through leadership and solid business practices.

Minimum Requirements:
? Matric; Related Degree - Business Admin/Management/Entrepreneurship/Human Resources
? Minimum 8 Years’ experience in general/mid-senior management level
? Driver’s License; Own Vehicle
? Commercially and financially astute
? Exposure in the Automotive sector highly advantageous
? Client facing - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
? Performance Management, Staffing, Management Proficiency, Coordination, Coaching, Developing Standards, Financial Planning and Strategy,
? Process Improvement, Decision Making, Strategic Planning, Quality Management; Key Performance & Staff Management

Duties:
• Increases management's effectiveness by training, coaching, counselling, and disciplining managers; communicating values, strategies, and objectives; assigning accountabilities; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; developing incentives; developing a climate for offering information and opinions; providing educational opportunities.
• Develops strategic plan by studying technological; industry/market & financial opportunities; presenting assumptions; recommending objectives.
• Accomplishes subsidiary objectives by establishing plans, budgets, and results measurements; allocating resources; reviewing progress; making mid-course corrections.
• Coordinates efforts by establishing procurement, production, marketing, field, and technical services policies and practices; coordinating actions with direct reporting staff.

• Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
