A company in the medical industry is looking for a General Manager in Finance to ensure financial initiatives are integrated and aligned with the execution of the company\'s overall financial strategy. To consolidate, review and evaluate Scheme results to determine the accuracy and validity thereof.

Requirements:

B.Com Honors Degree in Financial/Accounting required
8 Years experience in finance/accounting
5 Years financial management experience
King III, GAAP and IFRS principles
Knowledge of the companies act and Income tax
Financial reporting skills
MS Office Suite, Computer Literacy
Registered CA
Clear credit record

Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain the scheme SLA in terms of accounting operations and financial activities
Manage and control investments
Conduct financial administration and reporting according to best practice, within given mandate/governance and according to accounting principles
Prepare financial reports, statements, consolidated budget, including the preparation of timetables, budget models
Ensure effective and efficient delivery of monthly management and board reports
Coordinate and manage internal and external audits
Submit annual financial statements as well as other statutory reporting
Manage effective reporting of cash flow transactions toward ensuring operating income targets are met
Manage monthly accounts for the company by conducting forecasts, annual budgets and strategic plan forecasts
Review analysis, variations and reports of the Financial Analyst
Manage and minimize financial risks proactively and effectively
Support the COO in business growth in respect of organic growth and acquisitions
Proactively part-take in knowledge transfer opportunities to ensure adherence to planned succession plan and timelines
