A great opportunity exists for a General Manager in Finance based in Cape Town. The incumbent must have strong staff management and operational skills. You will report directly to the Managing Director.

Qualification:
Accounting Qualification – CA (SA) Advantageous

Skills & Experience:
5 years Senior Finance Experience
Education in Business or Law
Experience within a medium Industrial or Services Group
Demonstrated level of leadership and managerial skills
Pro-active and Innovative
Good relationship skills & able to be persuasive
Analytical
Good business acumen
Strong team management and organisational skills
Electronics Industry or Telecom Services experience

Job Description:
The incumbent will be responsible and accountable to manage the Finance Department (Business & Management Account control, Purchasing and Financial control).
Effectively support the operational teams with supportive financial data and analysis.
Effectively contribute to the decision making process.
Ensure compliance with all statutory, legal & tax obligations.
You will also be responsible to manage a team compliment of between 5-10 people.
