• A minimum 4 year Qualification in Engineering;
• Extensive experience and knowledge of government, especially the State Owned Enterprises environment,;
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience at Management level;
• Ability to design and implement projects in the manufacturing space, particularly focusing on targeted economic sectors for promoting manufacturing in South Africa
• Experience in conceptualisation and management of large capital projects;
• Knowledge of how SOEs function and how the client can leverage from their procurement ;
• Knowledge of the manufacturing incentives currently administered by the DTI;
• Computer literacy;

identify upstream and downstream industrialization opportunities in non-automotive manufacturing; initiate, facilitate and coordinate the creation of industrial activities; collaborate with other stakeholders to attract industrialists to in support of the client industrial policy

Develop and implement a company-wide industrialization plan in alignment with the provincial government
