Responsible for all management functions of the Business Unit and developing resources, managing performance, ensuring delivery, customer satisfaction and ultimately, the unit & profitability.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS:
Deliver required performance related to profitability of unit / region
Ensure operations are in line with SLA requirements
Effective management of internal operations
A working knowledge of the company Pro system
Its capabilities
Its market place
The competition
Building upon and managing the existing customer base
Building and managing an individual pipeline of new business opportunities in a manner that will lead to the consistent achievement of monthly sales targets
Building and managing relationships at a strategic level in targeted key accounts
Identification of customers’ business needs and working with client services and products to craft solutions to these needs
Reporting required management information regarding individual pipelines in an accurate and timely manner
Staying abreast of changes to the client offering to the market as well as relevant developments in the industry
Combining a solid understanding of the customer & business environment with in depth product knowledge and industry awareness to offer corporate customers an integrated business solutions
Identifying a sufficient number of new business opportunities to build an individual pipeline that will lead to the of monthly sales targets
Building a database of relevant information on these customers
Qualifying the new business opportunities that result from these initial steps in the sales process
Creating a differentiated value proposition that addresses these business drivers
Presenting the value proposition to the customers
Turning these customers into annuity customers
Efficient Human Resource management
Job Requirements OTHER FEATURES OF THE JOB (e.g., location, travelling, shift hours, etc.):
Prepared to travel
After hours when tender documents are prepared
Due to the nature of our business all employees have access to our customers & accounts therefore ITC checks will be done on all candidates
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Working knowledge of the fleet market place
Working knowledge of company tracking systems
At least 6 years & experience in a Business Development/Sales role, accompanied by a proven track record of achievement against an individual sales target
Business Development/Sales experience in the Fleet Management and Fleet Management Software Industry
A solid understanding of the business drivers that influence customer decisions in this market
Excellent communication skills are essential
Professional presentation and proposal writing skills
Proficiency in computing skills
EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE NECESSARY:
Commercial Qualification advantageous
8 Years proven experience in similar portfolio
Min 3 years experience in Management position
