My client seeks a General Manager who has experience within the mining and engineering industries with specific experience in explosives and technology used for mining.

The mandate of the role is to provide strategic leadership and commercial management as well as to take the business into new markets.

The company is a well established concern that manufactures unique products suitable for the mining industry so a young entreprenurial, commercially savvy incumbent would be most suitable.

Requirements:

Qualified in either the industrial engineering field or business qualification with mining and explosive technology experience
Must have business proficiency in Afrikaans (non-negotiable)
Have business management and marketing experience and understand how to take a product to market

The role will be remunerated with a basic salary, benefits as well as business expenses. In addition, you will also get profit share and equity in the business (on your share of its growth).
