My client has a vacancy for a highly technically proficient General Manager for a division within their group.
The mandate of the role is multifaceted in that it entails managing the entire business, overseeing multi-million rand projects and people management i.e. strategic, technical and operational.
The ideal incumbent will come out of the security technology sector where they have worked on large scale projects nationally and perhaps into Africa.

Requirements:

A bachelor's degree in engineering specialising in electronics, electrical, mechatronics or similar
Solid experience in technical and operational roles with a minimum of ten years of management experience
Experience managing multiple projects and teams nationally
Comfortable with matrix reporting lines
A deep understanding of integrating systems and technologies
Attributes include diplomacy, good leadership skills, deadline driven, strategic thinker and operationally efficient
Willing and able to travel nationally and into Southern Africa
