Job Description:
Our client is looking for a CEO with an accounting qualification, preferably a CA (SA) keen to work within Africa’s finest wildlife and wilderness areas through more than 5 different sites. This is an open role and will be working with a very lucrative, fresh and fun environment.
The role is a permanent role.
The position is a challenging one and will require good knowledge of the management process for wildlife safari parks and conservation points, strategic input into new ventures, finance and bridging finance deals as well as the cash book, all debtors and creditors functions including recons. Books to Balance Sheet, Journals and Management reports.
International relations, including some corporate actions and compliance experience is beneficial.
Knowledge of Tax and Vat is a benefit.
Knowledge of the industry as well as full accounting function is non negotiable; Good attention to detail will win you the opportunity.
5 years’ experience in a similar role
If you have worked in the wildlife and wilderness sector, and are familiar with mixed functions and full function accounting, this role is for you.
The environment will suite a dynamic CEO who is based on site. This is non-negotiable.
