General Manager

A boutique winery situated in the Robertson Wine Valley, has the above mentioned opportunity for an experienced person with extensive winemaking, management and marketing expertise.

This is an exciting career move for an innovative leader with a strategic / professional approach and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

A degree in Viticulture/Winemaking, a minimum of 20 years’ experience in the wine industry as well as the marketing of top brands (national and international) are requirements for this position. Computer literacy is a further requirement.

The General Manager reports directly to the Owner and is responsible for the overall management function, including the following duties: • production management and winemaking • operational management • overall financial and budgetary management • personnel management • general management and all other duties that are normally associated with this position.

The remuneration package will reflect the seniority of the position.
