Our client with over 20 locations worldwide seeks an experienced German speaking claims handler to be based in their offices in Century City, Cape Town.

Key Accountability

Handle and overcome objections in a professional yet effective manner
Adhering to targets
Have full knowledge of all products in relation to the business
Have full knowledge of all systems
Develop strong internal relationships with internal & external clients
Handle both internal and external email correspondence to and from clients in line with quality standards
Adhering to client rules and regulations regarding service standards and expectations
Handle all emails in line with client standards
Work within UK Data Protection Act Guidelines
Working towards first email resolution at all times
To act in any other capacity as authorised by senior staff
Have full knowledge of systems to execute the role
To identify your own training needs

Adherence to schedule – attendance
Meeting all agreed KPI`s and quality standards
Develop excellent relationships with all stakeholders
Ensure all communications are accurately processed within agreed timescales and guidelines defined
Provide high standard of service, both internally and externally
Maintain a good knowledge of external clients policies, data, and insurer policy information

Claims assessment experience
Fluent in both French/German and English
Matric
Strong verbal/written communication skills

Claims handling experience
Fluent in German
Policy wordings
FSA regulations and the TCF concept
Ability and willingness to work weekends when required
Computer literate – able to navigate around systems
Minimum 3 years relevant experince

Days of work:
Mon to Friday (May be required to work some weekends)

Hours of work: 09h00 to 18h00 (British summertime) and 10h00 to 19h00 (British wintertime)
Salary: R 13 000.00 - R 18 000.00 dependent on experience.

Special arrangements:
Working SA Public holidays
