• Greet customers, offer them the Sparkling Tour and ascertain what each customer wants or needs.
• Open and close sales summary, performing tasks such as counting money, separating charge slips, balancing cash, and completing banking.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices.
• Compute sales prices, total purchases and receive and process cash or credit payment.
• Maintain records related to sales.
• Watch for and recognize security risks and thefts, and know how to prevent or handle these situations.
• Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires.
• Answer questions regarding the store, the experience and its merchandise.
• Describe merchandise and explain design, and care of merchandise to customers.
• Ticket, arrange and display merchandise to promote sales.
• Prepare sales slips or invoices, valuations and certificates.
• Place special orders or call other stores to find desired items.
• Clean POS, shelves, counters, and tables.
• Bag or package purchases, and ensure correct certification and valuation.
• Help customers try on or fit merchandise.
• Inventory stock and requisition new stock, or tickets.
• Daily counts and balances of stock
• Sell or arrange for delivery, IBT, orders, or Appro return of merchandise.
• Respond to and quote on queries.
• Assist with queries, and possible payouts were relevant
• Ensure all clients visiting the store are recorded in the diary
• Take ownership of clients and sales
• Keep clear handover communication
