Minimum requirements :
A relevant third level degree/diploma in marketing or related discipline
Minimum 3-5 years experience at brand management level
Wine industry experience will be advantageous
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following :
Create brand plans with clear link to execution
Management and analysis of key financial data including brand income statements, AMP budget management , inventory
management and cost of goods
Focus activity matrix on correct balance of equity and volume drivers
Deep insights into the global wine market, including consumer customer and competitor
Drive cycle planning process to execution
Enrol all stakeholders in the brand strategy, and the measures of success
Effective management and evaluation of ROI on AMP
Gap analysis and innovation development
Continuous improvement of COGS, supply chain and product quality
Brilliant Execution of all activities
Close working relationship with SA sales and activation teams
Manage agencies (advertising, PR, strategic) to deliver maximum value
Set up and oversee agency contracts
