To facilitate global negotiations and manage global procurement contracts and processes according to group strategy and policies to ensure optimisation of value for money purchasing and sourcing initiatives

REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor Qualification in related Business, Engineering or Accounting discipline
• A Procurement qualification will be an advantage
• Demonstrate in-depth of medical device equipment procurement experience
• Minimum 5 years procurement management experience
• Minimum 5 years working experience in Capital Medical Devices and Information Communication Technology (ICT) procurement
• Working experience within Healthcare Industry
• Advanced proficiency in sourcing and application of procurement processes and principles
• Advanced Negotiation Skills
• Knowledge of business and commercial acumen
• Ability to strategically formulate and implement relevant policies
• Applied knowledge of regulatory and/or statutory requirements related to medical devices
• Builds mutual trust through honesty, fairness, transparency and reliability.
• Builds and maintains productive relationships through rapport and effective conflict management
• Projects credibility and persuasively shapes conversations towards outcomes

• Manages procurement capital investment cross-division work group activities
• Manages supplier, key account and stakeholder relations
• Negotiates and manages global contracts of capital medical and ICT equipment
• Structures and negotiates global procurement pooling packages on capital equipment
• Strategic sourcing and procurement of medical and ICT equipment
• Facilitates the international capital master procurement database and information to support effective operations and strategies
• Develops savings metrics related to group capital investments and report against agreed KPI’s
• Manages and mitigate supply chain risks
