Our client, a leading international relocation company, is looking for a Global Relocation Consultant to join their team. They are a renowned provider of global mobility solutions, providing the full suite of international relocation services for seamless employee relocation, on all continents and in more than 180 countries. The company was founded over 20 years ago, and is known for providing top-tier services to a variety of global clients.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Native (mother tongue) German and fluent in English
Previous Customer Service experience is essential - Call Centre based is ideal
Can do attitude
Positive and personable
Ability to prioritise tasks and work on own initiative
Resilient under stress
Excellent verbal and numerical reasoning
Passionate about providing good customer service
Innovative and able to challenge existing processes
Ability to adapt to change
Honest and ethical approach to business
Has gained personal insights through work or interests in the challenges of being in a foreign culture (e.g. through personal travel, living/working abroad/studying abroad or away from home)
Experience with Relocation Services or similar services is a plus, but not essential

JOB ROLE AND KEY TASKS:

The candidate will be working closely with the company’s international clients
The candidate will be the single point of contact for assignees
Responsibilities will include quoting, invoicing and handling and maintaining excellent service
Tasks are various and require very good communication skills and the ability to work quickly and efficiently
The candidate will work from offices at the Woodstock Exchange in Cape Town
To manage assignee files and ensure complete satisfaction from assignee, family and client by exceeding their service expectations
Take detailed client briefs/needs analysis
Learn and administer clients’ policies
To develop relationship with clients, assignees and their families
Ensure that information requested by assignee is provided on a timely basis.
Always return calls or respond to requests for information within 24 hours
Brief and liaise with counsellors, letting agents and supervise the preparation of property viewings, inventories, check-ins, tenancy agreements, renewal and departures
Liaise with the education team as needed, confirming clients' authorisation for school search programmes
To set up utilities and all concierge services
Highlight to the manager any cost overruns and act accordingly
Ensure any suitable issues are promptly escalated where appropriate to ensure corrective action can be taken
