Our client requires the services of a Global Sourcing Analyst to source new products and food-related products from international suppliers that suit the needs of the company and consumers.


Key performance areas:

? Specific product / category understanding
? Correct product /range sourcing, at the right time
? Different / unique product procurement (new trends)
? Profitable product location
? Ascertain which products are in short supply in the local market


The successful candidate must have:

? Matric and a BComm degree in Management Accounting
? 2 years relevant experience (experience in retail will be advantageous)
? Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
? Advanced computer literacy
? Strong business acumen
? Ability to consider all factors in terms of suppliers and costs
? Ability to problem solve creatively with tenacity
? Ability to grasp instructions and procedures and execute accurately
