Salary:  R33, 000 – R40, 000

Purpose of position:
Design, create and unit test code to meet assigned requirements, create codes that meet designed specifications, follow standards and easy to maintain and reasonably free from defects.   Provide maintenance, improvement and production support for existing applications.  Participate in design sessions; assist Manager with creating project plans and estimating task durations.   Test and peer review codes for technical accuracy, standards and functional compliance to design.  Work with testing team to ensure that product is accurately tested. 
 
Minimum requirements:
SA citizen
Matric plus Diploma in IT
4 years working experience in same role
Experience in Perl & CGI, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
Experience in Object oriented analysis & design
Experience with Client / server architecture, MY SQL server or MS SQL
Understanding of Project Management process and SDLC
