Gold Plant Metallurgist

Our client with their operations in Zimbabwe would like to interview suitable candidates for a contract position of Metallurgist in their Gold Processing Plant. Candidates that meet the requirements below are invited to apply.

Starting date: Jan 2016

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Bsc Degree in Metallurgy or equivalent
• At least 5 - 10 years experience
• Extensive and proven experience covering all aspects of production in gold processing plants
• Ability to manage, supervise and control the total gold processing plant
• Familiar with standard operating procedures in a plant and the ability to analyse processes and implement such SOP's as may be required to increase and maintain productivity levels
• Be able to effectively implement agreed on targets as per business plan requirements with respect to safety, production targets and costs.
• Ability to plan, lead and organize all activities that takes place in a plant
• Ability to manage and implement required safety standards and practices
• Be a self starter and be able to work independently
• An excellent communicator able to communicate with all stakeholders
