Our client in Paarl has a vacancy for GOLF SHOP Assistant / Sales in the Golf Department. Reporting to the Golf Shop Manager, she will need to meet the following criteria:

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Min of 2 years customer service experience.
• Knowledge of Golf is essential.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Afrikaans
• Well-groomed appearance

Duties:

• Assist in the opening and closing procedures for the Golf Shop
• Collect applicable fees from customers as they arrive
• Assist with reservations (tee-times, classes, etc.) and customers on the phone
• Assist customer by selling merchandise and providing information in a professional manner
• Assist in rotating stock and keeping displays clean and orderly
• Assist with general cleaning of shop
• Assist with creating of appealing displays
• Assist with periodic physical inventors
• Maintains flexibility to take on new and different tasks as directed by the Department Manager
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance

Salary:R5500-R7000
