Department : SalesPosition : Sales ExecutiveReports to : Regional Sales Manager Scope of Position: To promote the image and services of the company so that maximum growth occurs through gaining new clients and contracts.Responsibilities:Actively prospect and leverage new business opportunities within specified customer accountsCultivate strong long-term relationships with key decision-makersCoordinate proposals, contracts and tendersMaintain high visibility in the clients organizationImplement a sales business development plan to maximize growth and development of the new and existing client baseRecord all client related sales activitiesDevelop and maintain knowledge of market trends and competitorsMonitor and track Key Account performanceConclude rate negotiations and deliver boardroom-level presentationsAssist in developing new sales strategies to grow and enhance the Key Account volumes in the relevant market segmentsAttend trade shows, events and industry meetings as and when requiredGeneral office administration and correspondence.Strong Government Relationships Qualifications:5 to 10 years of Hospitality industry experience at the property level.Solid client databaseFormal University education, preference given to those with a hotel management degree. - Experience in the advertising field and former association with an ad agency.Proven organizational and communications skills. - WordPerfect computer literacy are an asset. - Working knowledge of Windows.Knowledge and experience in the tour and Corp IT is essential; familiarity with the conference market segments, government market segments and leisure market segments is an asset.
