Graduate Fertilizer Sales Account Executive – Cape Town

Did you recently graduated with a B.sc degree or planning to in Agri Chemicals, Agronomist, Fertilizers or Soil Science?

This position is to manage and develop Agri Nutrients sales in the target regions, customer groups / segments and product groups according to the Agri Nutrients strategy and business plans. To stimulate and bring forward business development ideas from own responsibility area.

Full Training will be Supplied, this is 90 % an Office based Job in the Sales Department.

Minimum Requirements:
• University degree in relevant discipline (Agriculture, Science, Soil & Fertilizers and Chemicals) A MUST
• B.SC Honours Degree – An Advantage
• M.SC Degree – An Advantage
• Excellent Command of English and Afrikaans - (written and spoken)
• An aptitude towards Agri Nutrients (fertilizers), Chemicals and Soil Science sales or business management
• Planning & organizational skills
• Ability to: analyse, solve problems, negotiate, run & manage effective meetings
• Knowledge of cost analysis techniques.
• Self-starter and proactive customer oriented attitude

Key Responsibilities
• Manage Agri Nutrients sales and customer base in the South Africa – Sub Sahara region for the named customer pool focusing on all Agri Nutrient product groups
• Proactively develop the Agri Nutrients customer base and sales volumes in the region
• Regular Customer visits in the region. (Commercial, Technical, Courtesy, responsive) To make sure that sales are performed with the best net back to the company.
• Direct handling of sales activities to customers in region.
• Schedules sales calls on customers according to the approved plans and policies which govern allocated quantities, credit and payment terms along with discounts and Manage customers’ orders including on time delivery & after sales support.
• Prompt response and handling of customer requirements complaints in all business aspects, commercial, logistics as well as technical.
• Provide reliable & on time information about the market assessment, environment, competition & sales performance; through periodical reports (KPI and Sales reports).
