GRAIN PROCUREMENT MANAGER – NATIONAL AGRICULTURAL CONCERN - BLOEMFONTEIN

• To manage the procurement and contracts administration strategy and process that will ensure the sound administration of contracts.
• The timeous supply of goods and services and achieving the best value for the company.
• To ensure the communication between head office and producer is sound, give good advice on local and international markets.
• To market storage space, in all relevant storage sites, to producers as well as traders.
• To procure grain under Trading mandates.
• Investigate, initiate, negotiate and execute trades of commodities.
• Establish, guide, direct and oversee the Department aligned with overall strategy and objectives

APPOINTMENT REQUIREMENTS
SAFEX certification
Bachelors or equivalent degree
Trading of agricultural commodities in the South African environment for at least 5 years

KPA’S
Contract Management
Visiting producers and managing procurement
Development of the company’s footprint in South Africa
Seeking and pursuing new business opportunities; discussing, negotiating and agreeing prices, quality, delivery and specifications
