The Graphic Coordinator is one of 2 personnel in the graphics department.

It is the responsibility of the Graphic Coordinator to obtain final client artwork approval of digital illustrations of products and product branding.

The role includes 10% graphic designing of company marketing material and designing customer logo’s. 60% of time will be spent preparing digital illustrations of products and artwork to be approved by customers. 30% of time will be spent managing the approval process, communication to customers and liaising with branding suppliers.

A monthly average of 200 customer artwork approvals will be managed by the Graphic Coordinator.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Artwork Approval:
- Prepare graphic illustrations of products as per contract specifications.
- Obtain artwork illustrations from supplier.
- Review supplier artwork and compare to customer requirements.
- Send artwork to customers to be approved.
- Ensure artwork approval takes place on a timely basis to ensure sufficient time for production to be completed on the required date of delivery.
- Send approved artwork to suppliers.
- Carry out artwork changes when required.
2. Communication:
- Liaise on a regular basis with the Production Coordinator and communicate artwork approval progress.
- Regular feedback on the artwork progress should be communicated to sales consultants.
- Sent progress notification to customers at critical production stages.
- Facilitate communication between the company, the customers and suppliers regarding the artwork of a contract.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Essential:
1. Corel Draw - (not negotiable).
2. Graphic designing techniques.
Desirable:
1. Illustrator.
2. Indesign.
3. Photoshop.

EDUCATION:
Essential
1. Grade 12.
Desirable
2. Graphic designing are related course.

Salary will vary depending on the qualification and experience of the candidate and will increase annually to remain market related: Minimum R7,500 Maximum R9,500
