Graphic Designer

Location: Hyde Park, JHB
Salary: R12k – R15kpm

Requirements:
Creative individual, with great DTP (finished art) knowledge and experience
Minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience
A great eye for detail as well as extensive knowledge on printers processes and requirements
Proficiency on Apple Mac is ESSENTIAL – only candidates with Mac experience can be considered
Excellent understanding of Adobe CS4/5 – namely InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
Needs to be able to take work from concept through to repro
Marketing experience would be advantageous.

Duties:
Create weekly email marketing brochures (e- brochures) to send to our customer database.
Assist to update and maintain company website
Responsible for all design work from start to finish
Layout of professional and visually appealing documents for proposals as well as corporate image- Keeping up with design trends and print processes
Assist in creating templates/guidelines and procedures for clients
Creating mock-ups to supply printers
Occasionally meeting printers
Meeting with clients to get a descriptive briefing and set standard for production processes
