Job Description:
We are an SME that is involved in the tourism and hospitality industry. Our Marketing Department is new and growing and we’re looking for a Graphic Designer to join the team. You’ll be bringing creativity to the team, designing on-brand marketing collateral and delivering high-quality and accurate final products.

We are looking for someone who can complete projects from brief to execution and someone who will provide accurate work from first round approvals to production.

Key Performance Areas:
• Creation of design and assets for use on our website and social media platforms.
• Brochures and other print marketing collateral
• Newsletter design and dispatch
• Landing page design
• Multimedia and PowerPoint presentations
• New CI development
• Signage and vehicle branding
• Concept and layout development
• Estimating the time required to complete the work
• Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts. Contributing ideas and design artwork to the overall brief
• Using innovation to redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time

Job Requirements / Proficiencies:
• Four to five years’ experience in a similar role
• Portfolio of evidence to illustrate design styles / experience
• Adobe Suite CS6 (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, Dreamweaver etc.)
• Be a creative thinker with initiative - able to translate job briefs into design concepts
• Work quickly and efficiently without sacrificing attention to detail and accuracy
• Able to work on multiple projects at the same time
• Be solutions oriented
• Excellent self-management and communication skills
• A good understanding of design basics and the design process
• A good understanding of layout and composition
• A good understanding of print
• Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Qualification:
Degree / diploma (or similar qualification) in graphic design
