GRINDING OPERATOR (feed or food manufacturing)

JOB TITLE: GRINDING OPERATOR
DEPARTMENT: PROCESSING UNIT – PLANT OPERATIONS
REPORTS TO: SHIFTMANAGER

PURPOSE:
• Operate grinding process efficiently as per manufacturing plan.
• Ensure that grinding process is under control in terms of Quality, Safety, Speed and GMP

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Run grinding process at the required output and with minimum waste and rework.
• Perform CCP, oPRP and other quality attribute analysis
• Operate grinding process to supply extrusion L1 or L2

EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Matric or N3 Technical Certificate or equivalent with minimum 3 years in feed
• or food Manufacturing
• Experience in Extrusion, drying and coating tasks (opt: knowledge of feed/food industry)
• Must be willing to work irregular hours and extended shift if necessary
• Safety, hygiene and quality conscious individual
• Must be self-motivated, an excellent team player and able to take initiative
