SAP / Manufacturing Experience
Our client is in the Manufacturing Industry (Heavy Engineering) We Looking for Group Accountant and you will be reporting to the Financial Director. This is a 3 to 6 month contract with the possibility of going perm. We are looking for someone out of Manufacturing and with SAP and management experience
Reporting to the Financial Director, the successful candidate, a qualified and experienced finance professional, will be responsible for the Group’s accounting functions including reporting, general ledger, creditors, banks, debtors, taxation, VAT, Customs & Excise and credit control.
Key responsibilities will include financial management of functions stated; period ends; credit management; risk management; process improvement / compliance as well as performance management / succession planning, leading and managing staff.
B.Comm degree or similar accounting qualification. Minimum of 8 years’ experience in a financial management role preferably in a manufacturing environment. Proven staff supervision skills is required.
Previous experience in a group / shared accounting service operation as well as relevant knowledge of SAP is preferred. Expert knowledge and experience of MS-Excel, MS-Word, MS-PowerPoint are required. The following skills and abilities commensurate with the level of appointment are required:
