Group Executive
An independent consultancy offering a wide range of professional services within the scientific and technology research sector is looking to hire an Group Executive for their Natural Resources, Enabling Infrastructure, Public and Professional Services division, to be permanently based in Pretoria, Gauteng. The successful candidate will be responsible for the division’s stakeholder engagement with the private and public sectors, while driving collaborations with relevant national and international related industries.

Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Must have a Doctoral degree in Science or Engineering
Must have a minimum of 5 years Executive Level experience
Must have a minimum of 10 years Senior management experience in a Research, Development and Innovation (RDI) and commercialisation industry or Research and Technology Organisation (RTO)
Must have relevant experience in one or more sectors in the division
Must have a previous experience managing a minimum annual budget of R200 million linked to a RDI initiatives
Must have track record of successful IP commercialisation
Must have experience of high level stakeholder management in the mining or related industry
Must have demonstrable business acumen and be an excellent communicator
Must have organisational development experience
