Are you an analytical CA (SA) who enjoys a group level role, consolidating and reporting? My client, a top employer to work for, is looking for an analytical Group Financial Accountant to join a big player in Financial Services. This person will mainly be assisting in the reporting function by means of consolidations and group reporting. Will be reporting on findings internally as well as externally to the shareholders and board.



Qualification:

CA (SA) non-negotiable



Skills & Experience:

Minimum 3 years financial services experience at a senior level

Extensive financial accounting experience in complex technical environments, including group reporting experience

Experience in financial management reporting

Analytical skills and experience in a similar role advantageous

Capacity to operate in a high-pressured environment

Critical thinking skills and an eye for detail

Problem solving

Financial and business acumen

Good communication skills

IFRS

Strong capability for research of a technical nature

Ability to manage diverse stakeholders



Job Description:

Duties will include, but not be limited to, the following:

The objective will be the production of timeous and accurate management reports, statutory financial statements and reports on the overall consolidated financial results. This position is processing-heavy and the ideal candidate must be OK with that.
