Job Description:

Preparing the consolidated financial statements
Preparing the audit committee and board meeting documents;
Prepare schedules for auditors, help with queries from auditors, prepare financial statements, help with consolidation and reporting packs to the ultimate holding company;
Review petty cash transactions, monthly petty cash reconciliation and perform second monthly petty cash count;
Prepare monthly cash flow summaries for Exco reporting & review for accuracy & update, where necessary, the investment analysts’ dashboards of the underlying investments;
Assist with preparing the monthly Exco documents;
Attend Exco meetings, when required;
Post of journals in Pastel & review invoicing to investees;
Prepare monthly income statements for reporting and analyses monthly movements;
Prepare bi-monthly VAT returns, bi-annual provisional income tax returns and yearly income tax returns;
Prepare the annual budgets and bi-annual forecast process;
EFT payments;
Ad-hoc CIPC processing & annual returns (iXBRL) submission;
Assist with any preparation of ad-hoc schedules/financial requests/evaluations from management, when required;
Reporting to the Group Financial Manager

Qualifications:

CA(SA) qualification with 3-5 years post-articles experience;
Previous experience with full IFRS reporting is a must;
Previous experience with consolidations will be beneficial; and
Previous experience within listed environment will also be to the candidate’s advantage.
