One of our clients, a huge construction company in Cape Town currently has a vacancy available for a Group Financial Manager, they are based in Durbanville. The Group Financial Manager directs the financial activities of the company, ensures the financial reports are accurate and meets legislative requirements and that cash is well managed with tight controls in place.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be a qualified CA(SA)
  • Must have at least 10 years accounting/costing accounting experience within a managerial role
  • Must be registered with professional body (i.e. SAICA, SAIPA, CIMA)
  • Must have knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards
  • Knowledge of accounting principles
  • Knowledge of VAT laws and income tax laws
  • Knowledge of auditing requirements

  • Must have excellent numerical reasoning skills
  • Must have verbal and numerical reasoning skills
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills (English language)
  • Must have judgement and decision making skills
