Group Financial Manager – CA(SA) R1 million

A JSE Listed manufacturing company in the south of Johannesburg have a newly created position available for a Chartered Accountant that has a Group reporting background.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is to come from a manufacturing environment and exposure to Tax, Consolidations and Governance. The bonus will be your experience in Risk management.

Duties include

• Preparation of monthly consolidated management information for the Group;
• Preparation and co-ordination of annual and bi-annual financial reporting processes for the Group;
• Implementation and maintenance of the risk management and compliance processes of the Group;
• Preparation and co-ordination of the income taxation processes of the Group;
• Preparation and co-ordination of the annual budget processes of the Group;
• Preparation and co-ordination of JSE reporting requirements;
• Preparation of Board submissions for the Group;
• Engagement with internal and external auditors;
• Financial analysis of strategic initiatives as requested by the executive committee and the board; and
• Engagement with various role players and stakeholders including: internal and external auditors, insurers, managing directors, board members, SARS, attorneys, designated advisors, banks and company secretary amongst others.

Qualifications

CA(SA) – Min – 2 years post articles
