Areas of Responsibility:

• Implementation of HR policies and procedures
• Recruitment
• Industrial relations
• Internal disciplinary matters
• CCMA representation
• Performance management
• Implementation of training plans
• Talent identification and succession planning
• Employment Equity reporting
• WSP and ATR reporting
• WCA reporting

Required Skills:
• Assertive and outspoken individual
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure
• Leadership skills and be able to use initiative / self-starter
• Strong administration skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with all levels of staff
• Experience working with VIP Premier, VIP People an advantage
• Experience with Unions an advantage
• Computer Literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, internet, VIP Premier and good email etiquette)

Other:
• Own vehicle, with a valid driver’s licence
• Willing to travel to branches around the country and stay overnight

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Relevant HR degree with a good working knowledge of Labour Law
Must have 3 – 5 years previous HR management experience within a medium to large organisation
