Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy or relevant Engineering Diploma
- 3 to 5 years manufacturing experience in a pharmaceutical or related industry
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a management role in a manufacturing environment
- Computer literate
- BAAN experience will be an advantage

Responsibilities:
- Execute and refine operations plans
- Ensure schedule adherence to production plans
- Control operational activities of the department to ensure effective communication, implementation
of VPM's, downtime measurement, yield analysis and headcount monitoring
- Contain operational costs
- Ensure downtime targets are met
- Ensure that processes and practices are implemented to build capacity
- Propose, develop and continuously update methods for improving customer service
- Ensure effective people management
- Manage and ensure compliance to cGMP, SHE and HR standards
