Insurance Company based in Pretoria, has a vacancy for a Group Legal Services Specialist – must be an admitted attorney with Commercial / Litigation experience.

Responsibilities:
Contribute to the efficient and effective fulfillment of the Regulatory function
-Comply with the law and industry requirements
-Prevent legal and regulatory risk by keeping up with changes and development to legislation
-Assisting in drafting, maintaining and updating policies and producers with regards to Regulatory
Providing of legal services for effective communication
-Assist in changing complex language into plain language (letters, contracts, application forms)
-Promote effective communication to clients
Drafting of legal documentation for the Group
-Drafting of contracts, application forms and letters according to client specifications and legislative requirements
Providing general legal services
-Providing of overall legal assistance, guidance and advise
-Assist with Dispute Resolution
-Review and sign-off of lease agreement for the Group of companies
Providing training and awareness on regulatory matters

Requirements:
Completed LLB Degree
Admitted Attorney
2-3 years’ experience in Commercial Law/ Litigation
Insurance experience will be a great plus
