Qualified Professional Nurse, preferably with a postgraduate qualification and minimum 5 years’ relevant management experience required to manage the total nursing service of this private hospital group.

Minimum requirements:
• Professional Nursing qualification essential
• Postgraduate qualification highly advantageous
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant management experience essential
• SANC registration and proof of indemnity cover required
• Excellent leadership and management abilities required

Responsibilities:
• Manage the total nursing service of the group
• Manage all administrative policies, standard operating procedures and protocols that support the nursing portfolio
• Ensure Safety, Health, Environment, Quality and Risk principles
• Ensure positive working environment conducive to Continuous Professional Development
• Monitor staff levels based on departmental acuity levels are implemented
• Oversee, review and update nursing policies and procedures
• Oversee adherence of all nursing statutory requirements
• Report on nursing strategic plans and sub-unit strategic plans in correlation to the Group Business Plan
• Ad hoc queries and meetings
