Kendrick Recruitment is now looking for a Group Operations, Sales and Marketing Manager for a group of Hotels based throughout Gauteng.The role will effectively manage the operations of the Hotel Group, its General Managers (GM’s) and everyday hotel operations to achieve optimal guest and stakeholder satisfaction, ensure compliance, maximization of financial performance and ensuring the implementation and upkeep of the standard operating procedures, policies and quality standards of the Group. The role will report to the Group Managing Director and be mainly based at the Hotel Groups Head Office in Gauteng however the selected person may be asked to relocate if need be depending on the hotels the company signs up. Currently 5 hotels operate under the group name.Ideally the candidate must have an extensive background in Senior Hotel Management and Executive roles will be preferable. We are looking for an organised, conscientious and hardworking candidate with ability to multi task and manage countless major operations at once ensuring high standards are maintained in all hotel departments at all times.The salary for this position is R60,000 – R80,000 CTC and the role will include a gradual introduction into the full responsibilities of the role over a 12 month period.The perks include of the role can be discussed fully in interviews but will include the following as standard: Cellphone, 3G, petrol or travel allowance etc. To be in with a chance of be considered for this role candidates must have one or more of the following experiences:Minimum 1 year relevant Group Operations Manager experience of at least 5 entitiesMinimum 5 years relevant General Management experienceMinimum 2 years’ experience as Group Sales managerFood and Beverage Manager experience of minimum 5 outlets.Working experience in AfricaThe qualifications required are:Matric (essential)A relevant Hospitality qualification (Degree or Dipolma)In depth knowledge of the critical success factors in the Hotel IndustryIn-depth knowledge of Rooms Division and Food & Beverage DepartmentsIn-depth knowledge of Yield and Revenue ManagementGood understanding of Hospitality Industry Ratio’sWorking knowledge of Human Resource Policies and PracticesWorking knowledge of legislation applicable to the Hospitality IndustryIn-depth understanding of Marketing, Sales and channel principles and processes;In-depth knowledge of financial and administrative principles and systems;Good understanding of POS and PMS systemsGood understanding of IT, AV & Telecommunications software & hardware systemsKnowledge of Diverse CulturesProblem Solving SkillsNegotiating SkillsInterpersonal SkillsLeadership SkillsTraining & Coaching SkillsNumerical & Verbal Reasoning SkillsCommunication skills (Written & verbal)People Management SkillsIf you feel this is the next career move for you then apply today!!
