Job Description
Identifying and assessing level of issues based on risk exposures in the area of responsibilities within company
Ensuring that Safety, Health, Environment and Quality compliances within team through efficient use of the Toolbox
Utilising the Information Management System (IMS) to analyse, identify trends, initiate, mitigate, investigate and report SHEQ status
Implementing, reviewing, managing procurement and Contract Management policies and procedures
Reviewing and ensuring Governance of Contract lifecycle policies and procedures
Managing Master Data and Auto Order sections
Maintaining and improving customer relationships with key stakeholders and key suppliers
Conducting audits and analyses of usage of procurement systems
Achieving synergies and leverages opportunities across sites
Improving Procurement to Payment processes and ensuring proactive procurement with the reduction of Total Cost of Ownership
Integration of Procurement, Maintenance, Operations and IT system processes
Auditing and reporting on site KPI’s and ensuring inclusion and alignments in site/group scorecards
Managing the Document Management System (User access, training) and SAP integration
Maintaining contract management and administration
Developing and maintaining group standard templates for contract management
Training Procurement to Pay process for internal customers
Conducting and analyzing bi-annual Group Spend Analysis on Materials, Service Masters, Material Groups, Suppliers and Commodities categories
Managing master data function in compliance with audit requirements and improving master data quality
Compiling of continuous improvement, monthly GPS, Business Unit and Group Procurement reports and maintaining of GPS dashboards.
Identifying business opportunities for improvements within the procurement pipeline.
Increasing BEE spend on contract portfolio
Complying with Financial Policies and Procedures and protect company assets
Identifying and realizing cost-saving opportunities to achieve Group Procurement Services benefit targets and by negotiating contracts to bring value
Minimum Requirements
Degree / National Diploma in Commercial or Procurement
At least 4 years’ relevant experience within the Mining environment
Understanding principles of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
Knowledge of procurement in an industrial environment
Knowledge of procurement to Pay Cycle
Understanding principles of Contract Management, Change Management and Spend Analysis
Understanding Mining Charter
Significant experience and knowledge on SAP or ERP advantageous
