Group Risk Business Development Actuary

• Strive to develop profitable reassurance business for Life business by structuring appropriate solutions to risk with a focus on group risk
• Assist in developing and driving Life strategy which includes marketing, innovation and digitisation of reassurance
• Manage clients’ needs pro-actively, taking responsibility for deliveries including tenders, quotes, new product development and research
• Responsible for client data collection and validation
• Priority setting, within Life Business development, Product & Pricing and Basis Development

Qualifications, experience and skills

• Qualified Actuary or making excellent progress to qualification
• 5 years' risk business experience, group risk experience would be an advantage
• Product development and pricing experience in life insurance
• Excellent computing skills
• Good understanding of cloud based solutions
• Understanding of database development
• Self-starter and team player
• Strong interpersonal, network and negotiation skills
• Excellent communications skills
