The position will be part of, and have regular contact with the Africa and Group Tax teams
To own the relationships with local tax auditors and tax authorities
Tax broadly includes corporate income tax (which includes transfer pricing), excise tax, value added tax, customs duty and related indirect taxes.
The GTM: SA will also provide support to Finance and HR in the area of payroll taxes, specifically in relation to inter-action with Tax Authorities, but primary responsibility for payroll taxes will reside with the Finance Function.
