Retail Textile Store based in Somerset West is wanting to employ a permanent team leader for their Haberdashery Department.
This role will take responsibility for this busy hub with a diversity of products on a busy shop floor.

APPOINTMENT REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum grade 12
• Completed N6 qualification in Pattern Making
• Min 3 years previous haberdashery experience gained in a textile retail sales environment
• Previous experience in managing a small team or department
• Excellent understanding of sewing and technical know how
• Stock control/inventory purchasing system experience
• Previous textile sales experience
• Aptitude for management of staff
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills in both Afrikaans & English
• Highly organised with strong administrative skills
• Must follow a structured approach to work with logical thinking
• Attention to detail
• Strong customer sales advising ability with technical aspects and aesthetic appeal in textile projects
