HAIR PRODUCT SALES REPRESENTATIVE (Johannesburg West)

Leading international premium hair care product group are looking for an EXPERIENCED hair product sales representative to build the groups business with hair salons and support and develop hair salons in the assigned territory. To achieve continuous vertical and horizontal expansion of the groups portfolio of brands while ensuring long-term profitable revenue and growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Achieving sales targets through being a partner to the salon owner in order to build a mutually beneficial growth path for the long term
2. Organise and/or conduct product introduction training for new salons, while driving new distribution objectives (lead creation and follow up)
3. Act as an ambassador for the group
4. Sell the total portfolio of master brands.
5. Implement/execute the groups strategy while adhering to standard processes at all times.
6. Complete and submit sales reports as per company standard to your manager.
7. Provide sales insight to the education team to ensure collaborative, cross functional expertise is shared.
8. Analyse monthly revenue as per business standards, develop plans of action in the case of a negative budget deviation to achieve budget compliance and increased sales.
9. Sell and manage the entire portfolio while demonstrating ability to build long lasting relationships and loyalty.
10. Demonstrate knowledge in areas of Sales, Marketing and Education (SME) and lead change
11. Continuously consult with salon owners to encourage their growth while utilising negotiation techniques to ensure our brands are best supported
12. Observe the market and competitor activities and provide quality feedback to the SME team
13. Preparation and execution of call cycle monthly, targeting 12 calls per day
14. Handling customers clients as well as identifying and resolving concerns
15. Presenting and selling company services and products to both new and potential customers
16. Manage account services through follow-up and quality checks

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Grade 12
2. Tertiary Sales Qualification (an added advantage)
3. 3+ years sales experience in the hair salon or related industry
4. Confident, friendly, helpful, polite, team player, strong self-starter and an eagerness to learn
5. Business like appearance and ability to convey knowledge of current styles and trends
6. Able to communicate in both English and Afrikaans
7. Be goal orientated & results driven.
8. Have a valid drivers license

RUMUNERATION:

1. Basic Salary – R9,500.00
2. Car Allowance – R6,500.00
3. Medical Aid (Discovery – company pays 50% of contribution)
