Debtors / Creditors Clerk (Half-day)

Our client in the manufacturing industry seeks to appoint an Accounts Clerk on a half-day basis on a 3 month fixed term contract with a view of going permanent. The successful incumbent will be responsible for both the full Debtors and Creditors accounts function on Pastel Partner.

Requirements:
• Must be proficient on Pastel Partner.
• Must be available to commence the assignment with immediate effect.
• Must have experience in the full debtors and creditors function.
• Must be proficient on Excel (Intermediate to Advance level).
• Previous experience working on stock modules will be advantageous.

Responsibilities:
• Be responsible for the full debtors and creditors function.
• Reconciliation of bank statement.
• Reconciliation of debtors and creditors accounts.
• Reconciliation of petty cash journal.
• Preparing Invoices and Statements.
• Prepare payment schedule.
• Prepare VAT reports.
• General office assistance and filing.
