We are seeking a competent HDSA Section Engineer with a GCC Mines and Works to join our client in Mpumalanga.

Applicants must have the following:

- Bachelor of Engineering – National “N” Diploma (Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering) / NH Dip
- Experience in a mining environment (at least 8 years)
- Government certificate of competence (Electrical or Mechanical)

The Section Engineer is a 2.13.3.1 appointment in terms of the Mine Health and Safety Act and is responsible for providing a planning and control service to ensure that the appropriate engineering practices and systems are implemented to achieve the optimum utilisation of labour, material, budget and equipment with a year planning horizon. The Section Engineer is also responsible for maintenance and construction linked to the area of responsibility.
