Kendrick Recruitment is now seeking a Head Chef for a 5* Lodge based in the Kruger National Park. We are looking for a candidate who possesses all the requirments to take on such a leadership role. You will need to an excellent leader and communicator and be able to balance the line of being hands on and managing within the kitchen. The selected candidate will need to be able to work well under pressure and be able to adapt quickly to meet the clients needs with specific dietry requirements or special requests. You will need to have a formal Culinary Diploma or similar and at least 2 years in a Head Chef/Senior Sous Chef role. You will need to have realistic expectations of living in the bush and have excellent H&S knowledge, stock rotation and control knowledge and a creative mind, which to design menus with.
