We are looking for a young, dynamic and creative Head Chef who can bring their passion and energy to this beautiful boutique hotel in Greyton one and half hours outside of Cape Town. We are looking for someone vibrant and fresh with their pulse on culinary trends and the passion to innovate and impress. Creative flair is a must and a passion for country gourmet - fresh, beautifully prepared dishes served elegantly. The restaurant can accomodate up to 60 covers and is also able to host weddings and functions - the sky is the limit for the right candidate looking to make a name for themselves. The suitable candidate:Will be a young Head Chef with 1 - 2 years experience. This position could also suit a strong Sous Chef who is ready to move up and has experience in running a kitchen on his/her own.Should have a minimum 2 - 3 years experience in running a busy high pressure kitchen as a Senior Sous or Sous Chef.Must have high standards, be able to work quickly and cope well under pressure as well as well as be able to lead and motivate staff.Must have experience with stock control and ordering essential.
