Overview
We are looking for a highly experienced and dynamic Head Chef with experience in a luxury 5-star property, situated in the Simondium area
Requirements
*A diploma in professional cookery and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position * strong leadership ability * excellent timekeeping and reliability * a solid understanding of the marriage of wine and food * experience working in kitchens abroad as well as a flair for classical French cooking will be considered advantageous * driver’s license and own reliable transport.
Key duties and responsibilities
Daily preparation of all food items * recipe and menu development * training of kitchen staff/chefs * daily stock control * food cost and budgeting * daily planning and placing of food orders * management of staff * adherence to kitchen health and safety procedures * any other duties related to this position.
Remuneration
Our client is offering a market related salary

September 2019
