Our Client a leader in the automotive industry are looking to engage services of a Head Commercial Vehicle Sales, the prime objective is to manage the whole Sales Operation to ensure continued performance vs. budget for the Sub-Saharan Markets sales perimeter.

Qualification:

Relevant Sales qualification and a Bachelor’s Degree in a Management Subject, Marketing or Economics is preferable

Experience:

Strong Leader
Proven Track Record of Excellence
Experience in people management and development
Min. 3 years of sales experience in a similar role in the Commercial Vehicle

Industry preferably with a Competitor within SACU or Southern Africa

Excellent communication and presentation skills both written and verbal
An ambitious, proactive and dynamic attitude. Target driven and sales orientated.
The ability to deliver the company’s sales objectives
Excellent I.T. skills, Word, Excel & PowerPoint
Experience in facilitation/coaching/training/presentations
Methodical approach, attention to detail and the ability to work using own initiative
Effective Time manager
Extensive Knowledge of sales supporting finance, technical and administrative tools
The following would be an added advantage: Ø Code 10 or 14 Driving License with PDP

JOB OUTPUTS

To achieve and exceed the relevant commercial targets set by the Company.

Put in place relevant actions to reach commercial targets set by the company (Order Take, Invoicing, Margins, Market Share, Inventory levels)
Monitoring/Tracking commercial objectives in terms of AGP, Volumes, Market Share, and studying company market performances also in relation to external Market evolution
Ensure continued Commercial integration with Local Assembly Plant
Allocating company targets on the relevant country dealer network depending on their distribution potential
Defining rolling invoices plan by channel for the sales perimeter
Managing coherence among budget of invoices / order intakes and ongoing activities
Managing retail and commercial pricing and discount levels with the commercial controller
Ensure company reporting deliverables are continuously achieved (Locally and HQ)
Sales programme creation, implementation and management in conjunction with Marketing Dept
Official statistical reporting
Managing results of commercial polices decided on order intakes (with Marketing)
Defining sell in and sell out objectives for Dealer Network
Monitoring/managing network stock
Managing relationship and sales for Key Account Customers
Create access to key regional transport operators and truck fleets, selecting immediately a list of high potential targets
Ensure sales team create new sales opportunities through a daily, structured and measurable prospecting activity
When required, carry out joint/solo visits with dealer personnel to both existing and new KA customers
Ensure precise and reliable client visit reports are created by Sales Team
Liaise with all other Business Depts. to ensure positive customer relationships and support including: Marketing, Product, Customer Service, Finance and Used
Present company corporate presentations to selected audiences
