ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Diploma in Community Development or Degree in Social Sciences
• At least 3 years’ experience in planning, managing and implementing community outreach and advocacy programmes
• Experience in working with rural communities
• Certification in HIV/AIDS Counselling
• Project management experience
• Experience in participatory research methodology

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Leading and managing the Community Programme, which includes, amongst others, community outreach activities, community consultations and networking with community organisations
• Facilitating and supporting community preparedness and education for involvement in research
• Liaison with collaborators and key stakeholders
• Training/capacity development
• Developing information materials for community outreach
• Conducting focus group discussions
• Preparing presentations and publications
